The solid wood blocks has been taken and slowly cut and sharpened into a conglomerate of edges and facets. This continuous process of subtracting material has many benefits. Fist it lightens the overall geometry and secondly it creates the necessary angles to make the chair functional, In fact despite the sculptural look the chair, all its angles are studied to provide comfortable seat position and practicality.
